Manufacturer Welsh Slate adds Tim Piatt to its sales team.
Leading UK manufacturer of natural slate products, Welsh Slate, has appointed Tim Piatt as technical sales manager for the London and south-east region.
Tim brings more than 20 years’ roofing industry experience to the role, most recently as an internal key account manager for a major roofing materials distributor. He started in the roofing industry in a distributor’s yard, working his way up to branch assistant manager.
He now brings that customer-facing expertise, and 15 years as an area account manager with a leading manufacturer of roofing ventilation products and accessories, to the Welsh Slate technical sales team.
A walking and street art enthusiast, he said: “Joining Welsh Slate means a great deal to me. I am very proud to be helping sell, in my honest opinion, the greatest roof covering of all.”
